NeuroLife Privacy Policy

1) Who we are

NeuroLife is operated by Adspro Digital Private Limited ("NeuroLife," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you use the NeuroLife mobile app and website.

2) Scope

This policy applies to the NeuroLife app experience, including account creation, subscriptions, optional Apple Health connection, and optional AI chat.

3) What data we collect

Account data

Name, email, and login identifiers used to create and secure your account.

App usage and profile data

Exercise activity, progress, reminders, and profile inputs used to provide the core app experience.

Subscription data

Entitlement status and transaction metadata provided by app stores and RevenueCat so we can determine access to paid features.

AI chat data (consent required)

After explicit in-app consent, we send your prompts/messages and relevant conversation context in that thread to OpenAI to generate responses.

Optional Apple Health data (permission required)

If you connect Apple Health, we read only the categories you authorize, such as HRV, heart rate, sleep, and activity.

Technical data

Basic device and diagnostic data used for security, reliability, and troubleshooting.

4) Why we use data

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Provide app features like progress tracking, reminders, and personalization.
  • Process and verify subscriptions.
  • Provide AI chat responses if you opt in.
  • Import and display Apple Health metrics you choose to share.
  • Maintain app security, detect abuse, and fix bugs.
  • Comply with legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

Legal bases (where applicable)

  • Contract: to provide requested app services.
  • Consent: AI chat sharing and Apple Health permissions.
  • Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, and service reliability.
  • Legal obligation: compliance with applicable laws.

5) Service providers and data sharing

We use the following providers to operate NeuroLife:

  • Clerk: authentication and account session management.
  • Convex: backend and database infrastructure.
  • RevenueCat: subscription entitlement and purchase-state handling.
  • OpenAI: AI response generation when you have opted in.
  • Expo: app platform and operational infrastructure.
  • Apple App Store / Google Play: subscription billing and transaction records.

We do not sell personal information.

We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6) AI consent flow and controls

  • AI chat data is sent to OpenAI only after explicit in-app consent.
  • Sent data includes your message and related context in the same thread.
  • Apple Health data is not automatically sent to OpenAI.
  • Apple Health data is sent only if you manually type it in chat.
  • You can revoke AI consent any time from the NeuroLife app settings.

7) Apple Health permissions and handling

  • Apple Health integration is optional.
  • We request read access only for categories needed by NeuroLife features.
  • Examples include HRV, heart rate, sleep, and activity metrics.
  • We use this data only to deliver wellness features in the app.
  • We do not use Health data for advertising or sell it.
  • You can revoke Apple Health permissions any time in iOS settings.

8) Retention and deletion

We retain data only for as long as needed for the purposes above and to comply with applicable laws.

  • Account and app data: retained while your account is active and deleted after account deletion through NeuroLife App > Profile > Delete Account, except where retention is required by law.
  • Subscription and billing records: purchases are processed by Apple App Store / Google Play and RevenueCat, and related transaction records may be retained by those providers under their legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Security, diagnostic, and backup data: retained only as needed for security, reliability, and legal compliance, then deleted or de-identified.

You can permanently delete your account in-app at NeuroLife App > Profile > Delete Account. When you delete your account, related personal data is deleted except where retention is required by law.

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel store subscriptions.

9) Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your personal information.
  • Receive a copy of certain data (portability).
  • Withdraw consent, including AI and Apple Health consent.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing where provided by law.
  • Appeal a denied request where required by law.

10) California rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you may have rights to:

  • Know what categories of personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
  • Request deletion of personal information.
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Limit use of sensitive personal information where applicable.
  • Use an authorized agent, subject to verification.
  • Receive non-discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights.

NeuroLife does not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are used in California privacy law.

11) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and least-privilege practices.

No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12) Children's privacy

NeuroLife is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we collected such data, we will delete it.

13) International transfers

NeuroLife and its service providers may process data in the United States and other countries where they operate. Where required, we use appropriate transfer safeguards.

14) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice in-app or through other appropriate channels.
